Orbitrap Fusion Lumos Tribrid

La plate forme PAPPSO a fait l'acquisition en décembre 2015, du premier spectromètre de masse Orbitrap Fusion Lumos tribrid installé en France. Ce spectromètre de masse de dernière génération est doté de trois analyseurs (quadrupole, trappe, orbitrap), de trois modes de fragmentations (CID, HCD, ETD) et dispose ainsi d'une très grande versatilité d'analyse. Le mode de fragmentation unique à la gamme Lumos : ETD HD (High Definition ETD) permet d'augmenter la couverture des ions issus de fragmentation ETD.

Les caractérisations de multiples de modifications post traductionnelles, via soit des mesures de masses intactes ou Top Down ou des approches Bottom up sont désormais plus facilement accessibles.

LTQ-Orbitrap

This mass spectrometer combines a high MS resolution in the Orbitrap module and a parallel MS/MS scan at low resolution in the LTQ module. It is used for identification and quantification of protein mixtures. The possibility of MSn fragmentation is used for peptide structural analyses.
